On the eve of 2024, I’m inclined to reflect on what I’ve accomplished in my art career these past 12 months. A very nice surprise came earlier this year when the Napa Valley Museum, located in Yountville, solicited work from local artists for an exhibit of “miniatures” in one of their galleries. My work was accepted, and I’m proud to say I have six “mini” pieces of acrylic paintings and photography. I was delighted when they told us last week that the show has been extended until May of 2024!
The second fun surprise was the sale of a dozen art scarves through Art Gallery Napa Valley here in downtown Napa, and an original photograph. My framed photos have been slow this past year, and my intention is to get more sold in the coming year. A friend of mine shared this:
“Sift your focus from what you DO NOT want to what you DO want.” And, I believe this wholeheartedly. I intend to practice this starting now.
How about you?
Here are some of my favorite images from 2023…
Cheers everyone!
