We spent a few days on the Central coast and visited ostriches and emus. A fun experience to get up close to this heavy-hitter of the bird world.

We also stopped at one of the California Spanish missions, after all we need to see all 21 of them, and so far we’ve seen only 12. Each is unique, but all are the same in many ways. The history is intriguing and wondrous. This is Mission Santa Inez.
