Friday fun day

Here’s to a great weekend—beautiful weather is in our forecast. Mothers will be celebrated on Sunday (they should be celebrated every day not just one day a year), and I’ll be taking a piece to enter in an exhibit put on by Arts Benicia. The days ahead are busy ones, but I’m always thankful I have love, laughter, and these days to look forward to. Enjoy!

These images are after harvest.

Vineyard views

Vineyards have personalities of their own, depending on the time of year. These images were taken in the fall, and they convey the starkness of the time of year. Sunlight diminishes, time slows, winter is around the corner, and it’s time to rest. In the northern hemisphere we are nearing summer and vines are filling out with green leaves, grapes are starting to set, and before long, harvest will begin again.
